What to prepare before you launch CHECKLIST


o  Learn how to meditate or schedule your relaxation time into your everyday routine – this will save you!

o  Research crowdfunding websites, Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, GoFundMe, Patreon and Pick ONE.

o  Research similar campaigns in my industry and ask questions and advice – Make Friends

o  Put together your story, bio, your team bios, how long have you been doing this, Why you?, Why now? Why is this important?, Testimonials, Images of you and your product

o  Brainstorm 8 potential rewards that you can off to your backers for pledging to your project

o  Look into doing a Thunderclap.it campaign before you launch to get people engaged and involved to helping you spread the word about your project

o  Have an email list – if you don’t sign up for one at Mailchimp.com or simplero.com

o  Create a targeted list of at least 5 potential blogs, podcasts or local news to interview you

o  Create a targeted list of at least and email 5 potential blogs where you could write a guest post with added value information about what you do

o  Research on Eventbrite.com and Meetup.com for events you can network or speak at and share your goal during your campaign

o  Plan when you are going to launch – Pick the date and stick to it.  

o  Pick a catchy headline that describes what the audience is backing

o  Build your team – make sure you have at least 3 people on your team – who is helping you promote this campaign.

o  Shoot your pitch video – if you can make it funny, educational and/or inspirational

o  Pick the social networks that you are going to focus on and where your audience. Is it Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Periscope?  Each project is different pick the ones that fit best for you.

o  Make a list of everyone that owes you a $10 favor
