Alexia will be on a west coast tour to promote "I Believe" and "Salome." She will be at San Diego Comic Con July 23-27 as a guest at the Vamp Productions booth (#5409 at the end of aisle 800). Gracing us will her presence will be none other than Tura Satana, the star of such grindhouse classics as "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!", "Astro Zombies" and "The Doll Squad".

Satana will be signing special advance screener DVD's of "The Wild World of Ted V. Mikels," which a new documentary by Kevin Sean Michaels. It is a rollicking look at the independent cinema of Ted V. Mikels, who has been producing films for over 60 years. Mikels is considered a maverick of low-budget movie making and is still making movies at age 79. In "The Wild World of Ted V. Mikels," Mikels himself tells his fascinating life story. Fellow director John Waters (Hairspray, Pink Flamingos, Cry-Baby) narrates the New documentary.

We will have gifts for you to take home, including free buttons and magnets. There will also be BRAND NEW prints for sale of Faerie Alexia painted by famed illustrator Ken Kelly (KISS/Conan the Barbarian). As well as BRAND NEW Alexia Photograph prints with quotes by Oscar Wilde, Ayn Rand and Alice.

Our fabulous designer Mary Rath has imagined an I Believe T-shirt & Hoodie design which are available on the website and at Comic Con. Mary will also have signed Prints of her photography at the booth.

Kevin Sean Michaels will be debuting a Girl Power T-shirt (where you can see Alexia model in the Comic Con program), Festival Screener of the "The Wild World of Ted V. Mikels" Documentary and "The Making of The Wild World of Ted V. Mikels" DVD featuring fetish model Masumi Max.

Kevin and Alexia will also be signing the official release of "Vampira: The Movie" by Alpha New Cinema.

From there Alexia, Mary & Kevin will be in Los Angeles in support of the new documentary.

Kevin will be doing Q & A with Francine York, Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 7:30pm at the Grindhouse Film Festival, which is held at The New Beverly Cinema, located at 7165 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA where they will be showing "The Doll Squad" and a surprise feature by Ted V. Mikels. Tickets are $7 and available at the Cinema.

Then it is off to San Francisco for a screening of Alexia's short, "Salome", along with the 1945 feature, "Salome Where She Danced" starring Yvonne De Carlo at Oddball Film+Video on Friday, August 1 at 7:30pm. Oddball is located on 275 Capp Street. Tickets are $10 and must be reserved in advance. Call 415-558-8112 for info.

After a long excursion in California, Kevin and Alexia return to New York for a screening of "Salome" and "Vampira: The Movie" at the Ripe Art Gallery for their Homegrown Film Festival.
