Comic Con Day Tres!

Next we wandered off to talk to some of the small distributors and indie producers at the show. We met with reps from AnimEigo, Full Moon, The Stunt People, Steel Web Studios and more. We also stopped by the VAMPIRA: THE MOVIE booth to meet director Kevin Sean Michaels and his frequent collaborator Alexia Anastasio, star of festival film HELEN 2 PAY and editor of VAMPIRA:THE MOVIE.

We also ran into Tura Satana, my number one reason for even coming down here. Tura is the star of Russ Meyer’s exploitation masterpiece FASTER PUSSYCAT KILL! KILL! and a legendary icon of B moviedom. She is the original badass chick and the reason most guys have a thing for chicks in tight black leather. She is also a good friend of Kevin’s and while she set up at his booth, she was kind enough to chat about her upcoming women-in-prison flick SUGARBOXX, which teams her with fellow Russ Meyer vixen Kitten Natividad. She then proceeded to toss Kevin around like a ragdoll and demanded that I sit on her lap for a photo.
