A cult above the rest
Cinema Arts Centre has cooked up a devilishly delightful stew for cult
moviefans on Sunday as "Night of the Living Dead" director George
Romero visits for a question-and-answer session and reception, along
with actress Lynn Lowry. Two of hi un-"Dead" films starring Lowry will
be screened as part of the "Night of the Living Legends" event. First
off, see "Sugar Cookies," a 1973 erotic mystery flick was rated X when
it debuted, at 5pm. "The Crazies," also from 1973, focuses on
bioterrism, paranoia and the U.S. government and military gunning down
citizens, and unreels at 7:30; the meet and greet with Romero and
Lowry begins at 9:30. Tickets for "Sugar Cookies" are $12; for "The
Crazies" and the reception, you'll pay $17. Buy tickets online at
